Medal and Day One County Championship Results - Llandrindod Wells GC, 11 April 2026

The hill was in fantastic condition as we embarked upon the Championship today, but the elements on times were absolutely brutal!

The weather went from bright but flipping freezing, to mild dustings of hail, to extreme gusts, vicious hail storms, sleet and rain…. interspersed with a bit more sun. Hats off to everyone who completed their round and continued on through the afternoons play. The drop-out rate (author included!) after the morning’s medal led to the Plate competition being abandoned and only the Championship quarter final continuing this afternoon.
