If either side is unable to field a full team of six players, then the match may still go ahead with a team of 5 players, this does mean that one member of the team with 5 players will be playing against 2 opponents.

Further to previous communications on the matter, the date for the Texas Scramble at Welshpool has reverted to that as printed in your County Books. The fixture calendar, list of competitions and entry forms on the website have all been updated to reflect that this event will be held on Sunday 22 March 2026. Apologies
The Greensomes was held on Saturday 20th September 2025 at Brecon Golf Club. Congratulations to our winning pair of Steph Jenkins and Liz Bush from Cradoc/Brecon Golf Clubs, with the best nett salver going to Wendy Davies and Andy Black of Cradoc GC and 2nd best nett to Lorna Sneddon and Jenny Lewis from Brecon GC.
Don’t forget our final competition of the season-the Teams of 3 to be held at Llanymynech on the 5th October.

The 47th AGM of Mid Wales County Golf Association will take place on Sunday 2nd November 2025 at 2.00 pm at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club.

Congratulations to all prize winners and to the winning team of Hayley Price, Lindsay Jones and Lisa Hughes from Builth Wells GC on winning the 3 Ball Texas Scramble held yesterday at Llandrindod Wells GC. Our thanks go to Llandrindod Wells for hosting and well done to all who played.
Mid Wales went down 5-4 to a very good Caernarfon and Anglesey Team on Sunday. Well done to all our girls who played some fantastic golf in warm conditions. Thank you to Builth Wells GC for their hospitable welcome.
The Seniors Stableford was held at St Giles GC on the 18 May 2025. Apologies for the delay in updating the website. Congratulations to Barbara Reece from Borth and Ynyslas on winning the Peggy Heighway Jones Trophy with 36 points. Cat winner was Ellen Jones from Welshpool; Cat B was Maggie Cadwallader from Welshpool; Cat C was Chris Davies from St. Giles
The Stableford competition was held at Cradoc Golf Club on the 14 June. Congratulations to Esther Prytherch of Borth & Ynyslas who takes home the Welshpool Crystal as overall winner.
NB. Please note there will be NO food available apart from Coffee cold drinks and snacks from behind the bar. You are more than welcome to bring your own food to eat in the club house before or after playing.
