To play in all MWCGA competitions you will need to purchase a County Card.
Cost is £5 (Associate Members £10). The list of competitions below is subject to change. Check News and Entry Forms for most up to date information.
COMPETITION NEWS
The Seniors Stableford was held at St Giles GC on the 18 May 2025. Apologies for the delay in updating the website. Congratulations to Barbara Reece from Borth and Ynyslas on winning the Peggy Heighway Jones Trophy with 36 points. Cat winner was Ellen Jones from Welshpool; Cat B was Maggie Cadwallader from Welshpool; Cat C was Chris Davies from St. Giles

At the present time the clubhouse will be closed due to Covid. There will be access to toilet facilities. Takeaway bacon rolls and tea and coffee will be available.
Another gorgeous spring day here in (this bit) of mid-Wales. We hope you will have managed to get back onto your courses and the little white ball is being kind?! Here is a little update on changes to upcoming events.
The Mixed Greensome comp will be held on Saturday the 21 September at Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club.
The start sheet for the County Championship at Llandrindod Wells on the 27/28th April has been published.
The Spring Medal will be held at Aberystwyth GC on the 13th April. Find Start Sheet here.

Entries are now open for the MWCGA Open and County Championship!! To be played over 36 holes on 6th April 2019 at Borth and Ynyslas GC and on the 7th April 2019 at Borth GC.
Sorry to advise that the Team of Three to have taken place tommorrow at Llandrindod Wells GC has been cancelled. Storm Callum can do one now. Refunds will be sent out.
The Start Sheet has been published for the Autumn Team of Three at Llandrindod Wells CG on Sunday 14 October .
Given the recent weather and with heavy rain forecast for the next few days, the decision has been made to postpone the Mixed Greensomes on Sunday 23rd September. Rearrangement will take place if possible, so please check the website and Facebook for updates. If cancelled, refunds will be issued and advice on this will follow.
Get your entries in for this ladies. Have a giggle with your mates, a fab day, not to be missed.
