COUNTY MATCHES

Mid Wales went down 5-4 to a very good Caernarfon and Anglesey Team on Sunday. Well done to all our girls who played some fantastic golf in warm conditions. Thank you to Builth Wells GC for their hospitable welcome.

Our county team played Monmouthshire in the final of the Welsh Inter-Counties competition on Sunday at Carmarthen Golf Club. It’s a fantastic achievement for a rural county like ours to make the final. Sadly, we came second on this occasion, but the ladies looked mighty good in the new county tops!

Our County Team took on Caernafonshire and Anglesey at Penrhos last Sunday (and came away with a fantastic 7-2 win. Nest up- Denbigh and Flintshire on 11 June at Abergele.

We’re delighted to have had confirmation that Mid Wales will be playing in the Inter County Final against Glamorgan at Llanishen on the 18th September.
