Entry Forms

The MWCGA County Card is issued annually and costs £5 (Full Member) or £10 (Associate Member) for the calendar year. Purchase of the Card entitles a player to:

  • be a Full (or Associate) Member of the MWCGA for the calendar year. Rule 8 a) & b) of the MWCGA Constitution & Rules applies;

  • participate in all MWCGA County Card competitions, subject to rules of entry;

  • as a Full member, compete in the County Championships, subject to rules of entry;

  • enter the Mid Wales Girls’ County Championships, subject to rules of entry; and

  • attend the MWCGA Annual General Meeting.

To participate in MWCGA competitions a player must:

  • be a Full or Associate member of MWCGA;

  • be in possession of the County Card for year (NB you don’t need a physical card. You can just pay the £5 or £10 by BACS referencing if CC24 and your name and email your details to Sue Jones)

  • complete and return the appropriate application form;

To enter a competition, complete Entry Form and return (either by post or email) to: Mrs Sue Jones, MWCGA Competitions’ Secretary - Details on form. Please ensure that appropriate contact details and CDH number (for handicap purposes) are included on each entry form. When paying by BACS please ensure you use SURNAME AND INITIALS along with the ref of the comp. off the application form.

Closing date for entries is 14 days prior to the competition day. Late entries will be accepted where tee times are available. Please contact the Nominated Committee Member on the Start Sheet. Start Time sheets will be:

  • posted on the ‘Competitions’ page of the MWCGA website – www.mwcga.co.uk approximately 10 days prior to each competition;

  • sent to the Club Delegates by e-mail about 10 days prior to each competition;

  • posted on the MWCGA Facebook page

To cancel an entry after the start sheet has been distributed:

  • contact the nominated person on the Start Sheet;

  • entry fees will be refunded for cancellations made up to 10 days prior to the competition day.

For information on the availability of buggies, please contact the Professional/Secretary at the Host Club. If you will be using a buggy please indicate it on your entry form so that, where possible, we put buggy users together.

 There is a PDF form available for each competition. The PDF’s are forms which are fillable online for saving and emailing to the Comp. Sec. The forms can also be printed to be filled in and posted to the Competitions Secretary.
